Smart safety & The Easee standard
Easee 2023
2 in 1 project. A collection of animations showcasing the Easee chargers multiple safety measures and features.
Easee was going through legal issues relating to the safety measures of their products. There was a need for a response that would clarify the standards that the Easee products follow, in a comprehensive yet simple way.
The project deliverables was initially intended to be a stand alone video, after deliberation it was decided to use the assets made (+ some new) to create content for a dedicated website and a social media campaign.

Development
The development started with initial scetches, thumbnails and storyboards. Reducing the ammount of sections as we went.
A challenge was how to simplify and explain complex technical aspects of the product in a simple way.
After deciding on a timeline and content, there was time for some layout and transition sketches.
Final artboards

Safety video totalled 20 artboards, each containing up to 4 transitions.
To create depth, background elements were given soft gradients.
Squared format for the lottie animations for web and social media.
Final outcomes
The animations are lottie compatible which is great for their small file size and scalebility.
The animations are used in Easee Lite’s promotional campaign “Feature Friday” Describing a new feature on a weekly basis.
The animations can also be seen on the product spesifications page on the Easee website.
